Alex oversees the intake and referral process for our residential, foster care, R & E May School, and community-based programs. His work improves the overall well-being of the entire population of clients our Agency serves.

Alex started at St. Catherine’s Center for Children in 2019 with our Community-Based Services program, serving as a direct care service provider to our clients. Working within the community-based program taught him that as much as we help our clients learn and prosper, we can also learn from them.

Originally from Rochester, Alex has been a resident of the Capital Region since 2013 when he started college at the University at Albany. While in school, he interned with the Albany County District Attorney’s Office and the Capital District Psychiatric Center, where he began to develop an interest in the mental health and social work field.

Alex holds a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology from the University at Albany, as well as a Master of Arts degree in Criminal Justice.
