Erica has lived and worked in the Capital Region for 20 years. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Syracuse University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Public Health at the University at Albany.
Erica’s entire career has been devoted to working with at-risk children and families. Her career started at Unity House as a residential case manager. She would eventually find her way to St. Catherine’s in 2006 and worked in our Homeless & Housing Services for seven years, holding various roles with different programs.
Erica would then branch out to work in the public sector with Albany County Department for Children, Youth and Families and the New York State Office of Children and Family Services where she spent several years in the child welfare field.
After years in the private sector, Erica returned to St. Catherine’s and has since served in several roles including both Supervisor and Director of the Community Outreach and Care Coordination Department. Six years into her second stint with St. Catherine’s, Erica was offered the position of Associate Executive Director of Community Programs.
In her most recent role, Erica oversees Community Programs including Children’s Health Homes and HCBS, School Based Mental Health contracts and other social care needs and initiatives.
Erica believes that mental health is health, and that for people and communities to achieve better health outcomes, their basic needs as well as social care needs must first be met.
